Falk Preußner

Falk is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with a long experience in developing, growing and expanding corporations on a regional and global level. Falk has taken companies from inception to exit and fully understands what it means to innovate so that success can be a way of life.

In 1994 he founded MediFox, an accounting and administrative software solution for the out- and inpatient nursing care market. Falk quickly turned the MediFox GmbH into the leading provider of software in the healthcare sector gaining more than 50% market share. After a strategic partnership with Bank für Sozialwirtschaft (BFS), the largest banking institution in the German healthcare sector in 2009, the company quickly became the second largest invoicing and factoring service provider in the German nursing care market, which Falk then sold in 2013, 20 years later.

In 2011, Falk founded CareNavigator GmbH, a web portal which facilitated the exchange of health data among home health care providers, physicians and their patients so that family members would be more informed about the health status of their relatives.

As executive director Falk became part of the Transact Europe Holdings OOD, a privately held investment company focused on finance and e-commerce areas, in 2014. In the same year he joined dopamine ventures, a diversified holding company and company builder, as the CEO.

Falk became a member of the Rheingau Club and co-invested in several portfolio firms in 2016.

“I’ve seen many company builders worldwide but decided to work with Rheingau. The essence of success is passion, will power and 100% commitment. I’ve found all that at Rheingau and I’m happy with my decision to invest with them.
